Gibco AAV-MAX Lysis Buffer is a ready-to-use, chemically defined cell lysis reagent optimized for adeno-associated virus (AAV) vector production workflows. It uses a gentle, detergent-based formulation to eliminate the need for mechanical cell disruption, providing a milder and easier alternative for isolating AAV particles from HEK293 cell cultures. Supplied as a 10X concentrate, it can be directly added to HEK293 production cultures to induce lysis, streamlining AAV particle extraction and recovery from upstream workflows. AAV-MAX Lysis Buffer integrates seamlessly with the AAV-MAX Production System while remaining compatible with other AAV vector production processes, enabling flexible use across different AAV workflows.
