N- (7-dimetylamino-4-metylkumarin-3-yl)maleimid (DACM)

Det tiolreaktiva kumarinet, DACM, kan användas för att skapa blåfluorescerande biokonjugat. Jämfört med AMCA-konjugat har konjugat av den UV-ljus-exciterbara 7-dialkylaminokumarinfluoroforen något längre våglängds emissionsspektra (∼ 470 nm). Det oreagerade reagenset är icke-fluorescerande och kan även användas för att kvantifiera fria tioler.
