Designed for serum-free, single-cell plating of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells.

  • F-12 has been used for the serum-free growth of CHO cell cultures.
  • F-12 also supports the serum-supplemented growth of other mammalian cells, including chondrocytes, rat hepatocytes, and rat prostate epithelial cells.
  • Modified as follows:
    • With L-Glutamine
    • With Glucose
    • With Phenol Red
    • With Sodium Pyruvate
    • With Sodium Bicarbonate
