Beskrivning

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • Also known as: GNT2; CDG2A; CDGS2; GNT-II; GLCNACTII
  • MGAT2 is a Golgi enzyme catalyzing an essential step in the conversion of oligomannose to complex Nglycans.
  • MGAT2 has the typical glycosyltransferase domains: a short N-terminal cytoplasmic domain, a hydrophobic non-cleavable signalanchor domain, and a C-terminal catalytic domain.
  • Mutations in MGAT2 may lead to carbohydratedeficient glycoprotein syndrome, type II.
  • The MGAT2 insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided
