For maximum recovery please spin prior to use. Unless noted below, aliquots of the 5 μg, 10 μg and 20 μg sizes of kinase are not recommended as materials can be used in original packaging until exhausted. For larger sizes, the number of freeze/thaws may be reduced by preparing aliquots, aliquots below 20 μL are not recommended. Please never store a kinase diluted. If properly stored at -80C, this product is guaranteed for 6 months from date of purchase. This KSR2 recombinant human protein (554-end) was expressed in insect cells. KSR2 serine/threonine kinase or kinase suppressor of Ras 2 specifically regulates the activity of MEKK3 and COT but not other members of the MAP3K family. KSR interacts with a regulatory Raf molecule in cis to induce a conformational switch of MEK, facilitating MEK's phosphorylation by a separate catalytic Raf molecule in trans. Blocks MAP3K8 kinase activity and MAP3K8- mediated signaling. Acts as a negative regulator of MAP3K3- mediated activation of ERK, JNK and NF-kappa-B pathways, inhibiting MAP3K3-mediated interleukin-8 production.
