Lipopolysaccharide Binding Protein (LBP), recombinant human protein is supplied in a frozen format. It is suitable for use in analysis of protein structure. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the human LBP (NP_004130.2) extracellular domain (Met 1-Val 481) fused to the a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
Activity: The activity of this protein has not been tested.
Formulation: Lyophilized in 20 mM Tris, 100 mM NaCl, 0.05 mM EDTA, 10% glycerol, pH 8.0.
Reconstitution: No reconstitution is needed. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -80°C. Thaw protein on ice before use and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
