Description

Description

Description: The monoclonal mouse IgG2b, kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin. Applications Reported: APC Mouse IgG2b Iso Cntrl has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: APC Mouse IgG2b Isotype Control is offered in 2 formats: - µg size: has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This should be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody. - test size: has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at test size: 5 µL (1 µg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. Excitation: 633-647 nm; Emission: 660 nm; Laser: Red Laser. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.

Mouse IgG2b is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody that is produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the third most abundant IgG subtype in the serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response. Mouse IgG2b is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains, and it is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It is also involved in the regulation of immune responses, including the activation of T cells and the inhibition of B cell activation. Mouse IgG2b is widely used in research and diagnostic applications, including ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry. It is also used in therapeutic applications, such as immunotherapy and vaccine development.
