ApplicationsMupirocin is involved in inhibition of protein synthesis was reversed by isoleucine and Pseudomonic Acid was shown to inhibit IleRS (isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase) in vitro. It also demonstrates weak inhibitory action on FARSL (phenylalanyl-tRNA synthetase). Efficacy against staphylococci and streptococci including multiply resistant Staphylcoccus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis is reported with Pseudomonic Acid.
Solubility
Soluble in DMSO or methanol. Sparingly soluble in water
Notes
Research Use only: Not intended for animal or human diagnostic or therapeutic use.Typical working concentrations are in the range of 0.25µg/mL-0.39µg/mL.
