Nifursol rapidly metabolizes to form the metabolic marker 3,5-dinitrosalicyclic acid hydrazide (DNSAH) which can persist for a long time. Nifursol is widely used for the research of Escherichia Gastroenteropathy in poultry, fowl and aquatic animal.
