OPTIZYME™ AP is a novel alkaline phosphatase that catalyzes the release of 5'- and 3'-phosphate groups from DNA, RNA and nucleotides in 10min.

Applications and Features:

  • OPTIZYME™ Alkaline Phosphatase dephosphorylates cloning vector DNA (10min at 37°C)
  • Fast thermoinactivation (5min at 75°C)
  • Simultaneous digestion and dephosphorylation of vector DNA
  • Single protocol for all types of DNA ends
  • Nucleotide degradation prior to sequencing PCR products
  • Active on nucleotides
  • Protein dephosphorylation
  • Active in all OPTIZYME restriction enzyme buffers

Supplied with:
10X OPTIZYME AP Buffer: 100mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0 at 37°C), 50mM MgCl2, 1M KCl, 0.2% (v/v) Triton X-100, 1mg/mL BSA
