Description

Renade och konjugerade former av Thermo Scientific™ Pierce Rekombinant Protein G möjliggör sondering och detektion av mus- och humanantikroppar, särskilt IgG-isotyper, i Western blotting, ELISA , IHC och andra immunanalysprotokoll.

Protein G är ett bakteriellt cellväggsprotein isolerat från grupp G-streptokocker. DNA-sekvensering av nativt protein G identifierar två IgG-bindande domäner och ställen för albumin och cellytebindning. Albumin- och cellytbindningsdomänerna har eliminerats från rekombinant protein G för att minska ospecifik bindning och kan därför användas för att separera IgG från råprover. Optimal bindning sker vid pH 5, även om bindning också är effektiv vid pH 7,0 till 7,2.
