Rapid Influenza A+B Antigen Test Card is used for the qualitative detection of influenza type A and type B nucleoprotein antigens in nasopharyngeal swabs, nasal swabs, and nasal aspirate samples.

  • The Rapid Influenza A+B Antigen Test Card is an immunochromatographic membrane assay that uses highly sensitive monoclonal antibodies to detect influenza type A and B nucleoprotein antigens in nasopharyngeal swabs and nasal aspirate samples.
  • The reagent pad of the test strip contains the colloidal-gold conjugated with the monoclonal antibodies against Influenza virus A and B; the reaction membrane contains the secondary antibodies for virus A or for B, and the polyclonal antibodies against the mouse globulin, which are pre-immobilized on the membrane.
  • This test is only to be used by healthcare professionals, not for home testing. It cannot be used alone as the basis for the diagnosis and exclusion of cases.
