CCL7 (human) Recombinant Protein, RP-8649, from Invitrogen.Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 3 (MCP-3), also called CCL7, is produced by macrophages and some tumor cell lines. MCP-3 signals through three different G protein-coupled receptors, CCR1, CCR2, and CCR3. CCL7 chemoattracts monocytes and can regulate macrophage function. Recombinant human MCP-3 is a non-glycosylated protein, containing 76 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 9 kDa. Purity is typically greater than 98% and endotoxin level less than 1 EU/ug. The expected biological activity (ED50) is determined by the ability to chemoattract human PBMCs, human neutrophils or THP-1 cells and is typically 10-100 ng/mL. The specific activity of this protein is 1x10^5 units/mg. Reconstitute using sterile water at 0.1mg/mL and centrifuge prior to opening vial. Gently pipet solution down the sides of the vial. DO NOT VORTEX sample. Store reconstituted material at -20°C and add 0.1% BSA for additional stability.
