TOX Rat anti-Human, Mouse, eFluor® 660, Clone: TXRX10, eBioscience™
Rat Monoclonal Antibody
Brand: Affymetrix eBioscience 50-6502-80
Additional Details : Weight : 0.09500kg
DescriptionCell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. eFluor® 660 is a replacement for Alexa Fluor® 647. eFluor® 660 emits at 659 nm and is excited with the red laser (633 nm). Please make sure that your instrument is capable of detecting this fluorochome. Excitation: 633-647 nm; Emission: 668 nm; Laser: Red Laser. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered. TOX (thymocyte selection-associated high mobility group (HMG) box protein) is a member of the HMG box family of DNA-binding proteins and likely plays a role in the regulation of T-cell development. It is a 526 amino acid nuclear protein and the expression of TOX is upregulated by pre-T cell receptor (pre-TCR) and TCR activation in immature thymocytes. TOX-mediated positive selection is associated with up-regulation of RUNX3 and is calcineurin dependent. TOX-dependent transition to the CD4+CD8 stage is required for development of class II major histocompatibility complex-specific T cells.
