Beskrivning

XMark Ink Shield is a quick-drying fixative spray that is applied to a specimen after marking with XMark Tissue Marking Dye and forms a protective layer on the marked surface while allowing the processing reagent to penetrate the tissue.

  • The chemistry of pigments, especially those seen in yellow, orange and red tissue marking dyes manufactured by alternative supplier's can often suffer during tissue processing protocols.
  • Unique to CellPath, Ink Shield has been specifically designed to use with our XMark range and ensures that specimen margins marked with dyes (including the colours mentioned above) are durable and unaffected during tissue processing.
  • For best results, spray the specimen with XMark Ink Shield from 5-15 cm away.
