Description
CDK13/cyclin K serine/threonine kinase is dimeric protein complex. CDK13 is a member of the cyclin-dependent serine/threonine protein kinase family. Members of this family are well known for their essential roles as master switches in cell cycle control. The exact function of this protein has not yet been determined, but it may play a role in mRNA processing and may be involved in regulation of hematopoiesis. Cyclin K is a member of the transcription cyclin family. These cyclins may regulate transcription through their association with and activation of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDK) that phosphorylate the C-terminal domain of the large subunit of RNA polymerase II.- Validated for use with the LanthaScreen™ Eu Kinase Binding assay
- Available in multiple pack sizes for convenient use
