Thermo Scientific™ Quantech Sharp Cut Fluorometer Filters deliver accurate results with the sensitivity you demand.

Sharp cut filters allow all of the light beyond the cut off wavelength to pass through the filter - delivering the maximum amount of signal to the detector for accurate fluorescence assays.

Sharp cut filters can be used to measure fluorescence emission and increase detection limits for sensitive measurements.

To select the proper filter for your assay, use the following guidelines:

  • There is no overlap between the Narrow Band excitation filter and the Sharp Cut emission filter The majority of the fluorescence emission falls in the wavelength range transmitted by the Sharp Cut emission filter

Includes:

SC415 filter

Note:

Number following SC is wavelength in nanometers. Sharp Cut filters transmit light to the red (lower energy) of the indicated wavelength, and therefore allow the majority of the fluorescence emission to pass through the filter. Should never be used as excitation filters.
