Invitrogen™ Luminescence Enhancer For Solution Assays, Sapphire-II™ Enhancer
Chemiluminescence enhancer that significantly reduces aqueous quenching and tune the wavelength of light emission.
Brand: Invitrogen™ T2113
Description
Sapphire-II chemiluminescence enhancers, are essential components of tube or microplate-based assays, significantly reducing the effect of aqueous quenching. Enhancers also tune the wavelength of light emission. Sapphire-II enhancer shifts the light emission maximum to 461nm from 475nm observed with the dioxetane alone. The use of Sapphire-II enhancer can produce a wide dynamic range since photodetector saturation is less likely to occur at higher sample concentrations. Aqueous environments reduce chemiluminescent signal intensity of 1,2-dioxetane substrates by water-induced quenching. Chemiluminescence enhancers increase the emission efficiency of light production by partitioning the water from the site of chemiluminescent signal production.
- Chemically optimized formulations enhance signal intensity in solution-based applications with dioxetane-based substrate solutions (CSPD™, CDP-Star™, Galacton™, Galacton-Plus™, Galacton-Star™, or NA-Star™ substrates)
- Choice of Sapphire-II enhancer facilitates assay development by allowing users to optimize assay signal intensity and wavelength of light emission
